Abstract
Abstract: It is proposed that specific opioids released under conditions of cognitive processes and mental imagery can, by peripheral action in the lungs, attenuate or exacerbate regular inactivation of prostaglandin E1 in the lungs and engender an increase or decrease of PGE in systemic circulation.
